Al Michaels just reported that the Vikings have made Christian Ponder inactive tonight for the Wild Card game against the Green Bay Packers. The injured elbow on his throwing arm is just too much, so the Vikings have named Joe Webb the starter in tonight's game. Joe Webb has not started any games this season. The coverage for tonight's game in Lambeau field begins at 8pm EST on NBC.
