The Falcons are apparently getting a boost to their defense when they need it the most.
According to D. Orlando Ledbetter of theAtlanta Journal Constitution, Falcons linebacker Sean Weatherspoon is returning to practice today, and said he plans to play Sunday against the Buccaneers.
Weatherspoon has missed three games with an ankle injury, a span which included their only loss of the season, along with some sloppy run defense.
Getting him back is exactly what they need to try to slow down Doug Martin and the Bucs, who have won four straight.
