Add another major problem to the Minnesota Vikings passing game.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports, via a team source, that wide receiver Percy Harvin is "extremely doubtful" to face the Detroit Lions on Sunday. Minnesota is struggling to throw the ball even with Harvin, and this could be a crippling blow.
Minnesota did not score an offensive touchdown when these two teams first met. Harvin returned a kickoff for a touchdown in that game, typical of his outstanding season. Harvin has 677 yards receiving on the season; no other Vikings player has topped 300 yards.Harvin was seen limping very badly through the locker room on Thursday by ESPN Twin Cities' Tom Pelissero. Harvin sprained his ankle against theSeahawks last week.
