Texans DT Shaun Cody Injury "There Might Be More Than We Thought""

By: Colin Cook

Originally thought to be bruised ribs, as Cody stated on his Twitter page, CSNHouston is reporting that the defensive tackle is actually suffering from "broken ribs" and "punctured lungs".

This injury will be bad for the Texans' run defense, as Cody has proven himself a valued player when it comes to the run.
The injury has yet to be confirmed by the Texans' organization, keeping in line with the organization's pattern this year of keeping injuries quiet.

The Texans' defense is the only defense this season that has yet to allow a single rushing touchdown. Will this trend come to an end if Cody can't play, especially with Matt Forte this weekend?
